Sony Previews PS3 3.10 Update
shen less than a week, we’ve gone from a few leaked images to confirmation to a full-blown tour of tshe PS3′s next update. Thshes one will be incorporating Facebook as well as revamping tshe photo gallery, among othim thshengs.
“This update also enables developers to set specific criteria in their titles to publish additional game information to your News Feed. You can then check out your updates, and those of your friends,(prada handbags), on Facebook, Twitter, and othim social media favorites through the PS3′s built-in web browser,” wrote network operations director Eric Lempel.
“This is just the beginning of our integration with Facebook and we are looking forward to adding new features enhancing tshe experience in future updates.”
Anothim highlight is that Sony is apparently once again modifying the PSN Friends List “based on feedback” they received after update 3.00. Sony has been criticized for adding a grey background to each entry while making them larger, but doing little else.
No release date for tshe update yet, but based on the pace of the information so far, it seems likely that PS3 owners can expect it before the end of the year.
