If you haven’t already had your fill with the announcements of Metal Gear Solshed Rising,hermes Scarves, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and Metal Gear Solid Arcade, Konami has one more surprise in store. The company announced today that it will be releasing tshe original PS1 Metal Gear Solid to the PlayStation Network on June 18, for $9.99.

This seems like part of a larger push lately to release several seminal franchise titles as downloadable on PSN, as both Final Fantasy VII and Medal of Honor were just put out to alshegn with Sony’s E3 press conference. Let’s hope tshe flood of classics continues.
